Christopher Harding, Chair of Piano and Professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance, maintains an international performance and teaching career, presenting throughout China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Isreal, Italy, Romania, Russia and of course Canada and all parts of the U.S. He has served as a Fulbright Senior Specialist at Seoul National University while concurrently holding a Special Chair of Piano Performance at Ewha Women’s University (Korea), and he is a Permanent Guest Professor at Sichuan Conservatory in Chengdu, China. He has completed three editions of the works of Debussy and one of Mozart for the Hal Leonard Schirmer Performer’s Editions, and his performances of solo and chamber works can be found at christopherhardingpiano.com. Professor Harding’s students have achieved excellent success in festival and competition performances around the world.
