The Jacobs School of Music is pleased to announce Innovation Grants, available to up to five full-time Jacobs School of Music students for the 2022-2023 academic year. At a time in which the performing arts are expanding in new and unimagined directions, the grant can be used to support a project designed to be completed by June 30, 2023. Collaborative projects that include creatives from departments across the IU Bloomington campus and/or projects which are embedded in community are strongly encouraged. The grant program is designed to support innovative ideas in performance or research for musicians, scholars, and dancers.

Eligibility

All Jacobs School of Music full-time students are invited to apply. Applicants will need to demonstrate how their project involves innovative practices, entrepreneurial thinking, interdisciplinarity, and objectives that are attainable by June 30, 2023.  A complete project proposal can be uploaded to the link below by Monday, October 10, 2022.
