Project Jumpstart is proud to feature Stevan Jovic as our newest featured entrepreneur!
A Performer Diploma student studying with Ernesto Bitteti, Stevan is also an inventor. His innovative new creation, the Practice-Right device, is intended as a tool for aspiring and professional guitarists alike. Because of Stevan’s shrewd entrepreneurial work, the Practice-Right was recently awarded first place in the 2012 IDEA Competition.
Part of Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (headquartered in IU’s own Kelley School of Business), the yearly IDEA Competition is organized by the Hoosier Hatchery. The competition is intended to endow students with entrepreneurial ideas, know-how, and funding to bring their concepts to fruition. Jovic and teammate Evita Sonner successfully claimed a $3,000 prize for their work, which will be used to promote the device at various guitar conventions.
In addition to a product webpage for the Practice-Right device, Jovic maintains a personal website. Because of his attentive and responsive attitude to evolving technologies, Jovic has made his product a success. We at Project Jumpstart are thrilled to see where the future takes this young entrepreneur and his ideas!
