SOUNDTRACK OF THE WEEK #15 – Celeste (Music by Lena Raine)
Another soundtrack with music featuring on NOTUS’ upcoming concert, Celeste is now a staple of the indie game scene, thanks in no small part to the incredible soundtrack by composer Lena Raine. The soundtrack is emphatically electric with gritty synths and the occasional piano accompaniment that keeps the energy appropriately high for a fast-paced 2D platformer. An original arrangement of “Confronting Myself”, the hardcore battle track at the end of the game, arranged by MGS member Erin C. Blake, will be performed by the NOTUS Contemporary Vocal Ensemble at there upcoming concert, “Voice & Video Games”! Check out the link below so you don’t miss the performance (or livestream)!
