Elzbieta Szmyt—Director
Elzbieta Szmyt
, a native of Poland, is a Professor of Music and Chair of the Harp Department at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She has performed numerous recitals and taught master classes in North America, Europe, and Asia. Szmyt holds graduate degrees from the Chopin Academy of Music, Warsaw University, and Indiana University.
Fan-Fen Tai—Co-Director
Fan-Fen Tai is an adjunct faculty at Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She was born and raised in Taiwan. She holds degrees from Indiana University (D.M.), the University of Arizona (M.M.), and Taipei National University of Arts (B.M.). Tai won numerous competitions and is an avid chamber musician. As a harp educator, she respects and supports the individualities of her students and has great passion to train and inspire next generation of harpists.
