The physical touch contact between fingers and surfaces generate interactions. In Enterface, the interaction between fingers and the Kyma Control application on an iPad screen results in a live electronic music composition. Through the composition, the performer controls musical parameters in real time. However, at the same time the performance is shaped by the sounds generated. The iPad as a controlling interface operates mutated algorithms during the performance while remaining the same physical appearance.
