Georgina Joshi Recording StudioThe Georgina Joshi Recording Studio, located in the Musical Arts Center, is our flagship facility and was made possible by a gift from the Georgina Joshi Foundation. The control room features a 48-input Pro Tools HDX system with an Avid S6 control surface, 7.1 surround sound monitoring, and is designed for a hybrid analog-digital workflow. Mac 405 Recording StudioThe MC 405 recording studio is located in the Musical Arts Center and features an Audient ASP8024 analog in-line console and a 24-input Pro Tools HDX system. M354Simon Music Center M354 is a Pro-Tools editing and mixing facility that features an Avid C|24 control surface and 5.1 surround sound monitoring. This studio is used for advanced coursework by juniors and seniors in the program and as with all our studios, it can be used for individual projects when available. MAC 327Musical Arts Center 327 is a Pro-Tools editing and mixing facility with Avid S3 and Dock control surfaces and 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos monitoring. Electronics LabThe Electronics Lab is used by students during the four-semester electronics sequence for group and individual lab work. It is equipped with computers for circuit simulation as well as hardware for prototyping and testing electronic circuits. It also includes machining equipment for manufacturing circuit boards and equipment faceplates. |
