The next step in the M401 class was to check-in with the students. The day after their first-draft of their research paper was due, I reached out to all of my sections through an announcement on the Canvas page. I told students that based on their feedback from their course instructors that they might need help with refining their topic or finding different services. I then offered to set up one-on-one appointments with students to help them individually.
I then waited to see if any students would contact me….
