The School of Public Health-Bloomington is thrilled to announce the expansion of its Dean’s Alliance advisory board, consisting of high profile leaders and scholars. Since 2005, the institution has relied on Dean’s Alliance board members for strategic planning guidance and advice. “Historically, the Dean’s Alliance has helped us to navigate challenges and take advantage of opportunities—particularly as we’ve worked to raise our profile as a data-driven, research-focused institution,” IU School of Public Health-Bloomington Dean David Allison explains.
The prestigious group also has provided support for School of Public Health students, faculty, and programs. Moving forward, the Dean’s Alliance will continue to advance the quality, reputation, and financial strength of IU School of Public Health-Bloomington.
To that end, Allison recently welcomed four new members. They include Life Biosciences Executive Officer Mehmood Khan, M.D.; ConscienHealth Principal and Founder Ted Kyle; Martha Lemert, a partner with Burt Blee Dixon Sutton & Bloom; and John Restiano, a senior partner with Dalimonte Rueb Stoller.
“The Alliance as a whole includes experts with truly wide-ranging professional expertise,” Allison says. “They come from all over the world and all walks of life. That diversity broadens our perspective and our capabilities.”
It also serves to further strengthen the position of the School of Public Health-Bloomington. “Over the next few years we hope to continue to raise the visibility and impact of the school,” Allison continues. “With additional members and our sense of renewed vigor, I’m confident we can accomplish those goals.”
The Dean’s Alliance board is scheduled to meet on June [4-5], 2020.
