A completely revised fourth edition of the Handbook of Sexuality-Related Measures has been published. Dr. Bill Yarber, Provost Professor from the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington, is the co-editor and founder of the handbook.
The reference handbook, written for sex researchers and their students, contains over 200 standardized sexuality-related questionnaires and is 712 pages. It remains the only easy and efficient way for researchers to learn about, evaluate, and compare instruments that have previously been used in sex research.
Dr. Robin Milhausen is the senior editor of the handbook and is a former Ph.D. (2004) student of Dr. Yarber. Milhausen received the Tony Mobley International Distinguished Alumni Award in 2015 from the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington. She is a professor of family relations and human development at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario.
Dr. Yarber is a senior research fellow at The Kinsey Institute, senior director of the Rural Center for AIDS/STD Prevention at Indiana University, and adjunct professor of family medicine at the IU School of Medicine-Bloomington. He is a past-president of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality from which he also received the Distinguished Scientific Achievement Award.
