1) What do you do now?
Director of Optometry Services at Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
2) What is your favorite aspect of your career?
I always loved what I do. I love helping people and making a difference in their life.
3) What is your favorite memory from being an optometry student at IUSO?
My favorite memory is the friendships that I developed as a student.
4) What advice would you give current IUSO students?
When you travel to optometry meetings, whether it’s AOA, NOA, SECO, or state meetings, network with optometrist, learn about the type of practice modalities that they practice.
5) What advice would you give your fellow alumni?
Support your Optometry School financially. Every amount makes a difference.
6) What do you like to do in your free time?
As I’ve gotten older, rest and relaxation. I love spending time with family.
