Economic development officials from throughout Indiana will gather March 2-3 at the Indiana Economic Development Association’s spring conference to be held at The Alexander Hotel at 333 S. Delaware St. in Indianapolis.
Founded in 1968, IEDA has more than 400 members and seeks to provide continuity toward a statewide community development effort. Topics covered at the spring conference will include advanced manufacturing and logistics job readiness in Indiana, a legislative session review and workforce readiness. A workshop on public relations also will be held March 2.
IEDA’s summer conference is planned for June 21-22 at Muncie’s Horizon Convention Center, with its annual conference set for Dec. 1-2, again at The Alexander Hotel in Indianapolis.
