The daylong workshop on April 11 focuses on the intersection of data analytics and high-performance computing. It is organized by the Indiana University Office of the Vice Provost for Research and the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering in IU’s School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering. Organizers will create a report based on the talks and panel discussion; it will be posted on the workshop website, and organizers will consider journal publication.
In addition to Ward, the workshop will host other prominent experts from government, higher education and industry including personnel from Fudan University, Indiana University, Intel, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, NEC Corp., Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories and the U.K. Science & Technologies Facility Council.
