Melissa L. Gruys, formerly chair of management and international business at Wright State University’s Raj Soin College of Business, was recently named the new dean of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Richard T. Doermer School of Business.
Gruys guided accreditation activities, curriculum development and new program creation while at Wright State and brings to her job an extensive record of building relations with community partners and stakeholders.

Gruys earned her Ph.D at the University of Minnesota and has served in various posts at Washington State University-Vancouver and Wright State.
