Comcast Business is now accepting entries for its third-annual Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs competition, which seeks to identify some of the nation’s most innovate startup ventures.
The contest is based on a 250-word essay submission that addresses the question: “How could your business use technology to help enhance your business?” Entries will be judged and two winners selected in 15 regions nationwide — one being a startup less than 2 years old and one being an entrepreneur in business for less than two years.
Regional winners would each win $10,000. From the group of regional winners, six grand prize winners will win an additional $20,000, plus a trip to Philadelphia to spend a day with teams of business mentors who will provide advice on implementing a technology plan. Past winners from Indiana include Richmond-based Skates U.S., which won a regional award in 2014.
“I get to work with small business customers and see the impact they have on the Hoosier economy,” said Rusty Dewitt, director of business services for Comcast Business in Indiana. “Hoosiers are innovators, hard workers and incredibly industrious. That’s exactly what is taken into account when we decide which entrepreneurs get this award.”
Entries are due March 12. For more information about the competition, read here.
