The IUPUI University Library’s Lilly Auditorium will be the setting Friday, March 6, for the fourth annual Ideas Solving Social and Economic Challenges Idea Competition.
Hosted by IUPUI’s Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Center for Research and Learning, the competition encourages individual students or teams to “pitch” new products or ventures. Fifteen finalists will have 3 minutes to present their idea to a panel of judges in an “elevator” format without the aid of slides or props.
Winners will be awarded cash prizes ranging from $500 to $2,500 and audience members can also vote for their favorite idea in an “audience choice” category that offers a $1,000 prize. The competition is free, open to the public and begins at 11 a.m. For more details, read here:
