After a distinguished career spanning 40 years and countless contributions to the field of international education, Kathleen Sideli, Ph.D., who served as IU’s Associate Vice President for Overseas Study until her retirement in June 2022, received a Life Membership Award at the NAFSA 2023 Annual Conference.
President Whitten made her first trip to East Asia with a small delegation from Indiana University, traveling to Japan and South Korea.
Indiana University has been awarded the 2023 IIE Heiskell Award for Models of International Education Financial Support in recognition of its International Advancement Initiative. This award from the Institute of International Education (IIE) recognizes the most innovative and successful models for developing and expanding international education in practice today.
