2018 was a busy year.
At the Office of the Vice President for Communications and Marketing, we started preparing for the celebration of IU’s bicentennial; helped build a website that shows IU’s impact across the state; and developed a brand book for IU Athletics.
In total, we partnered with campus marketers, schools, and academic units across the state to complete more than 2,500 projects.
But enough about us.
In this post, we’d like to take a moment to showcase some of Indiana University’s biggest accomplishments in 2018.
The IU Newsroom produced a video that offers a few of the highlights.
Some notable moments from the video:
- IU received over $18M for 11 international centers, and the Books and Beyond Program built new possibilities for the people of Rwanda
- IU Fort Wayne was welcomed into the IU family
- We built new facilities in Evansville, Bloomington, and Columbus, and we added a School of the Arts at IU Northwest
- The university received $45M to fund Alzheimer’s research in its largest single NIH grant
