IT Professionals:
On Wednesday, February 21, the Microsoft 365 Administrators will contact all registered Microsoft Teams owners and co-owners requesting renewal of their teams created or registered before April 1, 2023.
This ensures that each team is still needed and that the ownership and classification have not changed and allows an opportunity to administratively archive or delete teams quickly if no longer needed.
A renewal form will be open until March 31, 2024. If a team is not renewed by that deadline, it will be archived for 90 days (June 30, 2024) and then deleted. This process will be very similar to the process taken last fall to register unregistered teams.
You can preview the form at MS Teams Management (iu.edu).
