CompTIA Data+ is an early-career data analytics certification for professionals tasked with developing and promoting data-driven business decision-making. The course includes mining data, manipulating data, visualizing and reporting data, applying basic statistical methods, and analyzing complex datasets while adhering to governance and quality standards throughout the entire data life cycle. Assists in preparation for the CompTIA Data+ DA0-001 exam. There is no charge to attend this course.

Knowledge Base Transition to ServiceNow Knowledge Coffee Hours
1-2pm ET
Jacob Farmer and the Knowledge Management team invite you to two coffee hours about the upcoming transition of the IU Knowledge Base to the ServiceNow Knowledge platform. They’ll discuss components of the project, including features and changes to expect. There will be ample time for questions, and both coffee hour sessions will be recorded. The second occurrence is Thursday, August 1, 1-2pm.

Endpoint Management Services – Coffee Hours: macOS Common Build
3-4pm ET
Endpoint Management Services (EMS) invites you to bi-weekly, one-hour Microsoft Teams coffee hours to discuss and field questions about the IU Common Build and IU Print. This session is focused on macOS Common Build. This will be followed in two weeks with a session focused on Windows Common Build, then two weeks later on IU Print. These session topics will continue to rotate every two weeks for the next several months to give you the opportunity to become more informed about these services and to ask questions.

IU Women in IT – Candid Conversations for Caregivers

Join us for a virtual, informal, and candid discussion about caregiving. Whether you care for someone who is elderly, disabled, a relative, a child, a spouse, or any other loved one, IUWIT recognizes that being a caregiver can be extremely stressful. In this virtual setting, we invite you to vent, share resources and experiences, and find support from other caregivers. All sessions are open to anyone of any gender.

The CompTIA CySA+ course covers the duties of cybersecurity analysts who are responsible for monitoring and detecting security incidents in information systems and networks, and for executing a proper response to such incidents. The course introduces tools and tactics to manage cybersecurity risks, identify various types of common threats, evaluate the organization’s security, collect and analyze cybersecurity intelligence, and handle incidents as they occur. This course assists in the preparation for the CompTIA CySA+ CS0-003 certification exam. There is no charge to attend this course.

As the One Mail project progresses, you’ll begin receiving weekly emails listing the “From” address of all messages sent to your campus-specific email address. These weekly messages will help you identify senders you can notify that your email address is changing to @iu.edu.
