IT Professionals:
Historically, users were able to utilize old and expired IU ID cards to access IU Print [1] supported devices. Due to an upcoming change in card policy, this will no longer be an option.
This change will go into effect March 16 at 6AM. The change will require an unexpired CrimsonCard associated to the users account in order to swipe into a device to release prints, copy, or scan. Manual login will remain unaffected on non-student print devices. Manual login on any student print device will require a valid CrimsonCard associated with your account.
If you have an old or expired IU ID card, please see your CrimsonCard office before the scheduled date to have it updated to avoid interruption of service. You can use this link to find your nearest CrimsonCard office: https://crimsoncard.iu.edu/about/office-locations.html
If you have questions about this, please contact lsteam@iu.edu.
