We are notifying you regarding the end of support for the traditional Duo Prompt on March 30, 2024. This will impact only the 34 applications that are still on the traditional prompt. IMS is sending a communication to the affected system owners on October 20, and is working with the system owners to upgrade their applications to the Duo Universal Prompt where possible.
Many of the affected applications have not been used recently or have Test/Dev in their name.

Greetings,
You are receiving this email because your application <application name> is still using the traditional Duo Prompt which has an end of support date of March 30, 2024. Among other things, Duo is ending this support to focus on developing new features and functionality of the Duo Universal Prompt.
The status of your application is <application status>, <status description>.
If your application is still in use, the IMS team would like to work with you to upgrade it to use the Duo Universal Prompt to avoid a disruption in service as the traditional Duo Prompt will no longer be available for two-factor authentication after its end of support.
Please follow the steps below to upgrade your application to the Duo Universal Prompt:
- Confirm with the application developer or vendor that it has been updated from Web SDK v2 to Web SDK v4
- Schedule a time with the IMS team to upgrade the application in our Duo portal by submitting an inquiry at go.iu.edu/imsinfo

- App Update Ready: Your application needs an available software update to frameless prompt delivery as a prerequisite to Universal Prompt. Please contact the IMS team after applying the update.
- Waiting on App Provider: Your application does not have an available update to support the Universal Prompt. Please contact your app provider.
