EdCert course – Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services
8:30am-4:30pm ET
This course teaches IT professionals to configure advanced Windows Server services using on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies. Skills include leveraging Azure’s hybrid capabilities, migrating workloads to Azure IaaS, securing Azure VMs, and performing high availability, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery tasks. Key tools include Windows Admin Center, PowerShell, Azure Arc, Azure Automation Update Management, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Security Center, Azure Migrate, and Azure Monitor. This course also helps prepare for the AZ-801 certification exam.

Assistive Technology and Accessibility Centers – Fusion @ IU: Assistive Technology for vision impaired clients
2:30-3:30pm ET
John Ault of the UITS Assistive Technology and Accessibility Centers will provide an overview and demonstration of the software program Fusion available at IU. Fusion is an assistive technology program for individuals with vision impairments. It consists of two applications, ZoomText and JAWS, both of which support low-vision users. In addition to availability on IU STC computers, IU students, staff, and faculty can access personal versions of ZoomText and JAWS through IUware.
