The Endpoint Management Services team would like to make you aware that a computer device lock command was inadvertently sent to some Macs managed in the Casper Jamf Pro service. If you receive a report of a macOS device asking for a six-digit unlock code, please assist the client in unlocking the device.
A list of potentially impacted devices is available here.
These devices may need to be reassociated with the Jamf Pro management service for proper device management and security. IT administrators should evaluate these Macs to ensure they are up to date for macOS and third-party software. For additional assistance, IT support people should contact Endpoint Management Services at sct2@iu.edu.
