IU Women in IT – Candid Conversations for Caregivers
1-2pm ET
Registration required
Join us for a virtual, informal, and candid discussion about caregiving. Whether you care for someone who is elderly, disabled, a relative, a child, a spouse, or any other loved one, IUWIT recognizes that being a caregiver can be extremely stressful. In this virtual setting, we invite you to vent, share resources and experiences, and find support from other caregivers. All sessions are open to anyone of any gender.

Supercomputing For Everyone Series: Intro to High Performance Computing (HPC)

This workshop introduces IU students, faculty, and staff to HPC and the resources UITS Research Technologies (RT) makes available to them at IU to empower their research. This hands-on course will cover the basics of using IU’s supercomputing systems, from logging in to job creation and submission, as well as Research Desktop (RED).

Endpoint Management Services – coffee hours: IU Print
3-4pm ET
Endpoint Management Services (EMS) invites you to bi-weekly, one-hour Microsoft Teams coffee hours to discuss and field questions about the IU Common Build and IU Print. This session is focused on IU Print. This will be followed in two weeks with a session focused on macOS Common Build, then two weeks later on Windows Common Build. These session topics will continue to rotate every two weeks for the next several months to give you the opportunity to become more informed about these services and to ask questions.

IT Leadership Community Conversations on Leadership – Smoothing out the merge ramp: onboarding, fun?

We want to train new colleagues and help new hires get up to speed as quickly and easily as we are able. Help us crowdsource how we help our new team members get into our group and departmental routines. This IT Leadership Community sponsored series of informal discussions about leadership is open to anyone in the IU IT community. EdCert course – Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

This one-day course introduces Microsoft 365, an integrated cloud platform that delivers industry-leading productivity apps along with intelligent cloud services and world-class security. You’ll gain foundational knowledge on the considerations and benefits of adopting cloud services and the Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud model, with a specific focus on Microsoft 365 cloud service offerings. This course assists in the preparation for the MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification.
