UITS suggests that end users reboot their devices three times consecutively, as this may fix the issue.

Dear faculty, staff and students,
A worldwide IT outage caused by an update to security software CrowdStrike is impacting various organizations, including Indiana University.
We are working to quickly assess the full scope of the impact. IU system administrators are also actively working to restore service to impacted systems.
We will provide updates as this situation develops throughout the day.
