IU REDCap Day

IU-Indianapolis Campus Center and via Zoom
In-person registration is now closed. Webcast (Zoom) participation is still open.
IU REDCap Day brings together users and potential users of REDCap to share presentations, learn about new features, and network with peers. Discover exciting upcoming features in REDCap and unique ways others are using REDCap to do great work. Anyone in the IU community and all Indiana CTSI affiliated researchers are welcome to attend no matter their REDCap usage or experience. There is something for all user levels including a REDCap 101 session for new users! Registration is free.

EdCert course – CompTIA PenTest+ (Exam PT0-002 ) ($500)

CompTIA PenTest+ is designed for those who want to develop penetration testing skills to enable them to identify information-system vulnerabilities and effective remediation techniques for those vulnerabilities. The course introduces general concepts and methodologies related to penetration testing as you work your way through a simulated pen test for a fictitious company. It also addresses skills to plan and scope a testing engagement, including vulnerability scanning, understand legal and compliance requirements, analyze results, and effectively report and communicate practical remediation techniques for action to properly protect information systems and their content. This course assists in the preparation for the CompTIA PenTest+ certification exam (PT0-002).

IT Leadership Community Speaker Series – We Cannot Control Change. We Can Control How We React to It.

Change is all around us, and we can experience a multitude of emotions as we experience it. As part of the IT Leadership Community Workshops and Speaker series, this session will help you develop an understanding of the psychology of change and share some strategies for managing change and uncertainty. EdCert course – Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) ($350)

This course teaches how to manage Azure subscriptions, secure identities, administer infrastructure, configure virtual networking, connect Azure and on-premises sites, manage network traffic, implement storage solutions, create and scale virtual machines, implement web apps and containers, back up and share data, and monitor your solution. This course assists in the preparation for the Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104 certification exam.

IU Women in IT – Candid Conversations for Caregivers
2-3pm ET
Join us for a virtual, informal, and candid discussion about caregiving. Whether you care for someone who is elderly, disabled, a relative, a child, a spouse, or any other loved one, IUWIT recognizes that being a caregiver can be extremely stressful. In this virtual setting, we invite you to vent, share resources and experiences, and find support from other caregivers. All sessions are open to anyone of any gender. Registration required.
