Announcements
The administrative migration that will change the way in which Adobe Sign is licensed at IU has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 7 from 4pm-6pm.
On Saturday March 16, between 8am and 12pm EST, Instructure (Canvas) will be performing a regularly scheduled monthly release in the IU Canvas instance. There is no downtime expected for this maintenance.
- There will be no ITCP Weekly Update next week, March 15, due to spring break. Our next issue will return March 22.

We welcome all members of our community to actively participate, share ideas, and collaborate on initiatives that empower women and underrepresented genders who are part of the tech staff at Indiana University. IU Women in IT – Candid Conversations for Caregivers
4:30-5:30pm ET
Join us for a virtual, informal, and candid discussion about caregiving. Whether you care for someone who is elderly, disabled, a relative, a child, a spouse, or any other loved one, IUWIT recognizes that being a caregiver can be extremely stressful. In this virtual setting, we invite you to vent, share resources and experiences, and find support from other caregivers. Sessions are open to anyone of any gender. Registration is required.

The One Mail project is an effort to unify all IU email addresses under the iu.edu domain. UITS will host a virtual One Mail coffee hour to answer your questions as you prepare for One Mail at IU.

Supercomputing For Everyone Series: Storage 201: Data Management and Administration

This intermediate-level Storage Options and Data Management Best Practices workshop will discuss techniques and best practices for administering shared access to data, ensuring continuity of access, securing research data, and establishing a data lifecycle management policy. This workshop is intended for power users, lab PIs, and collection managers actively involved in generating, managing, and/or administering data.

CompTIA Security+ provides the knowledge and skills required to assess the security posture of an enterprise environment and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions; monitor and secure hybrid environments, including cloud, mobile, and IoT; operate with an awareness of applicable laws and policies, including principles of governance, risk, and compliance; and identify, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents. Assists in the preparation for the CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 certification exam.

UITS Support Centers will operate on adjusted schedules during spring break. That includes phone, email, chat and walk-in services. Hours vary by campus, so review availability on your campus before reaching out. CrimsonCard offices will operate on spring break hours, which also vary by campus.
