Dear IT Professionals,
Given the long operation of Active Directory (AD) at IU, we need to review organizational units (OUs) and groups to remove unneeded groups and ensure that those remaining are well managed over time. This will be a multi-phase project.
By March 31, please review the AD group(s) in your area, removing unneeded groups and marking the OUs you’ve reviewed in the form below. Removing groups not currently in use will result in less work in future phases.
Specific instructions are available in the Knowledge Base at Active Directory group review and cleanup (requires login).
We’ve made a reporting dashboard to help you find the groups needing review. After you’ve completed your review, submit the Active Directory groups to review form, which will be processed to update the dashboard.
We understand that this task will require time and effort, but it is essential for maintaining a streamlined and secure Active Directory environment. We highly appreciate your diligence in this matter.
