Announcements
All standalone and integrated MyLab and Mastering products will be unavailable on Saturday, November 25, from 1-9am ET due to vendor-scheduled maintenance.
On Saturday November 18, between 8am and 12pm EST, Instructure (Canvas) will be performing a regularly scheduled monthly release in the IU Canvas instance. There is no downtime expected for this maintenance.
- There will be no ITCP Weekly Update next week during the Thanksgiving break.

The CISSP course will expand upon your knowledge by addressing the essential elements of the eight domains that comprise a Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) for information systems security professionals. These include Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, and Software Development Security. The course offers a job-related approach to the security process, while providing a framework to prepare for the CISSP certification.

ITLC Conversations on Leadership – Who Is Watching Me? A discussion on social media in the professional workplace.

Please join us for this session in an ITLC-sponsored series of informal discussions about leadership that are open to anyone in the IU IT community. Knowing that colleagues and/or potential employers may look at your social media, this session will look at how we should evaluate our profiles and curate posts. We will also talk about the ethics of social media checks. Some pre-work recommended.

Cyber Secure Coder, leveraging many of the OWASP Top Ten best practices, is designed to validate the knowledge and skills required to design and develop protected applications. This includes better understanding vulnerabilities that undermine security, general strategy for dealing with security defects and misconfiguration, and how to incorporate security into all phases of development. Assists in the preparation for the CertNexus Cyber Secure Coder certification exam CSC-210.

Statewide IT Conference 2024 is accepting proposals for a workshop or training, breakout session (choose from among nine tracks), Tech Expo table, or topic table. The deadline to submit a proposal is Monday, December 4.
