Following the October 5 communications on registering Teams in Secure Storage, the Register Teams portal has been revamped to be more user-friendly, accommodate higher traffic and provide context on the purpose of the registration. Please view the updated Register Teams portal.
Direct communications will be sent to owners of unregistered Teams on October 20.

Subject: Register your Microsoft Team at IU
To improve security, all Teams at IU must be registered by 11/15
Greetings,
You have been identified as the owner of an unregistered Microsoft Team. As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the security of Microsoft Teams at IU, all Teams are required to be registered by November 15.
What do you need to do?
- Review the Teams you own here
- Select a Team from the dropdown, click Submit, and fill out the registration form
- If your Team is no longer needed, do not fill out this form. Instead, follow these instructions to archive or delete the Team.

Additional information
- Teams with multiple owners can be registered, archived or deleted by any owner
- Teams that are not registered by the deadline will be archived in read only mode for 90 days and then permanently deleted.
- Teams Classes in Canvas do not need to be registered
