IT Professionals:
Apple invites you to Office Hours on Wednesday, October 11, at 2pm ET or Thursday, October 12, at 10am ET. The sessions will cover the same material.
This session will cover authentication and the work done by Apple and Microsoft to deliver an improved experience on macOS, iOS and iPadOS as the use of modern authentication protocols continues to increase. We will explore the extensible single sign-on (SSO) framework and demonstrate the practical configuration tasks required to implement SSO with identities in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) to ensure a consistent device-wide SSO for apps and websites.
This session is available to all higher education clients and is not an IU exclusive event.
There will be plenty of Q&A throughout the scheduled 60 minutes, after which there will be an additional 30 minutes of open discussion.
Reminder: You do not need to register or get an Apple account. When you click the meeting weblink, you may be prompted to download and install the desktop version, but you may bypass this and use the browser version instead. Look for a “join from browser” link that soon appears further down the page.
