Canvas Scheduled Maintenance – September 16

IT Professionals, 

This message is to notify you of a monthly maintenance event scheduled for the IU Canvas instance. 

On Saturday, September 16, between 8am and 12pm ET, Instructure (Canvas) will be performing a regularly scheduled monthly release in the IU Canvas instance. There is no downtime expected for this maintenance.

  • Account and Course Settings: Restrict View of Quantitative Data 
  • Gradebook: Point Based Grading Scheme 
  • Outcomes: Decaying Average Calculation Update 
  • Pages: Editing Page Title Updates the URL’s 
  • Permissions: Admin Analytics Account Role Permission 

• Feature Options 
  • New Quizzes 
    • Build on Last Attempt 
    • Improved Item Analysis Report 
    • QTI File Exporting Available 
    • Share Item Bank with Course Checkbox Update
