Mon, Aug 28 – Fri, Sept 1: CompTIA Project+

CompTIA Project+ is intended for individuals in various job roles who are involved in managing, leading, and participating in small- to medium-scale projects. You will apply recognized practices of project management and understand the knowledge and skills required to manage the project life cycle (from initiation and planning through execution, acceptance, support and closure), ensure appropriate communication, manage resources, manage stakeholders, and maintain project documentation. Project+ covers a high-level introduction to Agile. Additionally, this course can be a significant part of your preparation for the CompTIA Project+ PK0-005 certification exam.
Thurs Sept 7: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

This course introduces Microsoft 365, an integrated cloud platform that delivers industry-leading productivity apps along with intelligent cloud services, and world-class security. You’ll learn foundational knowledge on the considerations and benefits of adopting cloud services and the Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud model, with a specific focus on Microsoft 365 cloud service offerings. You will begin by learning about cloud fundamentals, including an overview of cloud computing. You will be introduced to Microsoft 365 and learn how Microsoft 365 solutions improve productivity, facilitate collaboration, and optimize communications. The course then analyzes how security, compliance, privacy, and trust are handled in Microsoft 365, and it concludes with a review of Microsoft 365 subscriptions, licenses, billing, and support. This course covers the skills and expertise needed to maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure services. CompTIA Cloud+ reflects an emphasis on incorporating and managing cloud technologies as part of broader systems operations. It includes new technologies to support the changing cloud market as more organizations depend on cloud-based technologies to run mission critical systems now that hybrid and multi-cloud have become the norm. Topics include configurations and deployment, security, management of cloud resources, troubleshooting capacity/automation/connectivity/security issues related to cloud implementations, and implementing and maintaining cloud technologies to ensure desired system performance. Mon, Oct 9 – Fri Oct 13: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure (Exam AZ-800)

This five-day instructor-led course and certification exam is designed to measure your ability to accomplish the following technical tasks: deploy and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in on-premises and cloud environments; manage Windows Servers and workloads in a hybrid environment; manage virtual machines and containers; implement and manage an on-premises and hybrid networking infrastructure; and manage storage and file services. CompTIA A+ is the industry preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles. It is about much more than PC repair. Candidates are better prepared to troubleshoot, and problem solve, and technicians will better understand a wide variety of issues ranging from networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security. A+ supports the ability to connect users to the data they need to do their jobs regardless of the devices in use. CompTIA A+ CORE 1 covers mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing and network troubleshooting. Vendor-neutral and designed to assist in preparing for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 certification examination, 220-1101, one of two exams required for CompTIA A+ certification.

The stakes for software security are extremely high with over 100 billion lines of software code being produced each year and 70% of code in apps composed of open-source software and third-party libraries, and yet many development teams are forced to address software security when a vulnerability has been exposed. As with any aspect of software quality, to ensure successful implementation, security and privacy issues should be managed throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Cyber Secure Coder, leveraging many of the OWASP Top Ten best practices, is designed to validate the knowledge and skills required to design and develop protected applications. This includes better understanding vulnerabilities that undermine security, general strategy for dealing with security defects and misconfiguration, and how to incorporate security into all phases of development. Mon, Dec 18 – Fri, Dec 22: Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator (MD-102)
