ITLC Book Group Discussion
4-5pm ET
Madeleine Gonin will lead a book group discussion of Creating Introvert-Friendly Workplaces: How to Unleash Everyone’s Talent and Performance, by Jennifer B. Kahnweiler. Although introverts make up about half of the population, many workplaces seem to reward behavior more traditionally associated with extroversion—speaking publicly, responding on the fly, and thinking quickly rather than deeply. But introverts bring their own strengths to the workplace, and organizations that overlook them may also be overlooking a large well of talent. This book will show us how organizations can make conscious choices to be more inclusive of all employees, whether introverts or extroverts, so that all can reach their full potential.
This event is the first in a series of four sessions. The second session is Thursday, February 23.
Monday, February 20 – Friday, February 24

Core 1 covers mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing and network troubleshooting. Vendor-neutral and designed to assist in preparing for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 certification examination, 220-1101, one of two exams required for CompTIA A+ certification.
