EdCert course – Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
8 Tuesdays, 9am-4pm ET Register by August 17
This course is made up of Red Hat System Administration I (RH124) and Red Hat System Administration II (RH134). Course I equips you with Linux® administration “survival skills” by focusing on foundational concepts and tasks such as how to apply command-line concepts and enterprise-level tools. Course II goes deeper into Linux system administration skills in storage configuration and management, installation and deployment of Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®, management of security features such as SELinux, control of recurring system tasks, management of the boot process and troubleshooting, basic system tuning, and command-line automation and productivity. Both courses will assist in preparation for the RHCSA exam EX200.

UITS Research Technologies promotes supercomputing for everyone. They provide expert consulting services, compute and storage resources, research software, visualization and data services, and outreach and training. Education, outreach, and training manager, Robert Ping, delivered a Research Technologies presentation for IT Pros on April 19th as part of ITCP’s Infoshare series. The infoshare slides and recording are on Kaltura (login for the link to work correctly). Ping showcased their many services, listed in the Knowledge Base.
