Subject: Security update for Exchange Online email and known issues
Greetings,
Microsoft is enhancing security measures for logging into Exchange Online. It’s possible that this change could affect a small percentage of the IU population, preventing them from accessing their email on mobile devices when this change occurs on Thursday, July 21 at 8am.
If you receive the notification, “Your email access has been blocked” do the following:
- For the built-in email app on iOS or Android, remove the email account profile in the email application, and then re-add the account profile on your device.
- For older mobile devices or third-party mail applications, you may need to configure a new mail application. Microsoft recommends using the Outlook app on iOS and Android for better integration with the Exchange Online environment.
If you have any other questions or issues, please contact your IT Pro or campus UITS Support Center.
Thank you,
The Exchange Administrators and UITS Client Support Teams
