Feature story
Unique use of Zoom for IT Support
When the pandemic was in full force, there was a need to convert in-person services to remote where possible. The IUPUI University Library launched a virtual interface via Zoom on the second floor of their building, through which clients could seek advice from the IT Support Professionals who were operating from their Technology Services Desk on the fourth floor. The in-person staff on the second floor were able to direct patrons to the virtual interface across from them. This unique kiosk allowed quicker resolutions and has continued to be a valuable tool for their support operations.
