Mar 29 – 31 CertNexus Cyber Secure Coder (CSC-210) CertNexus $500 Register by Mar 23
The stakes for software security are extremely high with over 100 billion lines of software code being produced each year and 70% of code in apps composed of open-source software and third-party libraries, and yet many development teams are forced to address software security when a vulnerability has been exposed. As with any aspect of software quality, to ensure successful implementation, security and privacy issues should be managed throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Cyber Secure Coder, leveraging many of the OWASP Top Ten best practices, is designed to validate the knowledge and skills required to design and develop protected applications. This includes better understanding vulnerabilities that undermine security, general strategy for dealing with security defects and misconfiguration, and how to incorporate security into all phases of development. Assists in the preparation for the CertNexus Cyber Secure Coder certification exam CSC-210
Apr 11-15 CertNexus CFR (Exam CFR-410) CertNexus $500 Register by Apr 6
This course covers network defense and incident response methods, tactics, and procedures that are in alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST SP 800-61r2 (Computer Security Incident Handling Guide), US-CERT’s National Cyber Incident Response Plan (NCIRP), and Presidential Policy Directive (PPD)-41 on Cyber Incident Coordination. It is ideal for candidates who have been tasked with the responsibility of monitoring and detecting security incidents in information systems and networks, and for executing standardized responses to such incidents. The course introduces tools, tactics, and procedures to manage cybersecurity risks, defend cybersecurity assets, identify various types of common threats, evaluate the organizations’ security, collect and analyze cybersecurity intelligence, and remediate and report incidents as they occur. This course provides a comprehensive methodology for individuals responsible for defending the cybersecurity of their organization. The course assists in preparation for the CertNexus CyberSec First Responder exam CFR- 410
May 10-11 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Microsoft $350 Register by May 4
This two-day course will provide foundational level knowledge on core Azure concepts; core Azure services; core solutions and management tools; general security and network security; governance, privacy, and compliance features; Azure cost management and service level agreements. Note: This course provides an Azure pass and time for students to participate in hands-on labs. The content assists in preparation for the AZ-900 exam.
May 23-27 CompTIA Server+ (Exam SK0-005) CompTIA $500 Register by May 18
The CompTIA Server+ course builds on your existing professional experience to present the next tier of skills and concepts that you will use on the job when administering any type of network server, be it in data center or cloud environments. CompTIA Server+ covers the latest server technologies including virtualization, security and network-attached storage. Skills learned include server architecture, administration, storage, security, networking, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery. The course provides the primary knowledge and skills you will require preparing for any type of network server-related career and assists in preparation for the Server+ SK0-005 certification exam.
June 13-17 CompTIA Data+ (Exam DA0-001) CompTIA $500 Register by June 8
CompTIA Data+ is an early-career data analytics certification for professionals tasked with developing and promoting data-driven business decision-making. As the importance for data analytics grows, more job roles are required to set context and better communicate vital business intelligence. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data can drive priorities and lead business decision-making. CompTIA Data+ validates certified professionals have the skills required to facilitate data-driven business decisions, including Mining data, Manipulating data, Visualizing and reporting data, Applying basic statistical methods, and Analyzing complex datasets while adhering to governance and quality standards throughout the entire data life cycle. Assists in preparation for the CompTIA Data+ DA0-001 exam.
June 27-July 1 Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure (Exam AZ-800) Microsoft $350 Register by June 22
This course prepares candidates for the administration of core Windows Server workloads using on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies. The course covers implementing and managing on-premises and hybrid solutions, such as identity, management, compute, networking, and storage. The use of administrative tools and technologies, such as Windows Admin Center, PowerShell, Azure Arc, and IaaS virtual machine administration. This course assists in the preparation for the Microsoft exam AZ-800.
