IT Professionals:
Action is required for Microsoft To Do users to avoid potential data loss.
Microsoft is updating the backend service for the To Do application at the end of October [1]. Users of the desktop or mobile application will need to update before that date to avoid issues. After the end of October, users will be able to use To Do in offline mode, but it will no longer sync across devices. If users log out of the app before updating to version 2.49 or higher, they will lose all un-synced data.
This can include To Do links within Android and iOS Outlook applications.
