IT Professionals:
Microsoft’s OneDrive service is suffering a temporary degradation. As a result, many A5 licensed OneDrive accounts, most commonly belonging to faculty, staff, or students, may have had their OneDrive quotas reduced from 5 TB to 1 TB. Most clients do not possess a single OneDrive account with more than 1 TB of data, but a limited number may have more and will receive errors related to being over quota, including error messages and possibly the inability to upload or modify content in their OneDrive storage locations.
Microsoft is investigating and working to restore the 5 TB storage limit for A5 licensed accounts, but IU service administrators can also manually restore access for any client who is over quota as a result of this service degradation. If you have a client whose OneDrive is over quota right now, please reach out to Tier 2 Desktop-Server-Mobility team via phone and they will work with service administrators to manually restore the quota.
Please contact Tier 2 Support (DSM) via phone: 812-856-SCT2 (7282) option 2, or 317-278-SCT2 (7282) option 2.
