On February 9 2021, Microsoft released an urgent security advisory regarding three critical vulnerabilities that were found to be affecting Windows TCP/IP[1]. This warning was issued due to elevated exploitation risk and potential denial-of-service (DoS) attacks that could soon target these bugs. The three TCP/IP security vulnerabilities impact computers running Windows client and server versions starting with Windows 7 and higher.
The IU Information Security team strongly recommends to install the latest security updates which fix the three Windows TCP/IP vulnerabilities rated as critical and high severity as soon as possible and in an expedited fashion.
