IT Professionals,
The eLearning Services team (eLS) wants to inform you of several upcoming changes.
On Saturday, December 19 between 1:00am – 9:00am, the following standalone and integrated Pearson products will be unavailable while the vendor conducts scheduled maintenance [1]: MyLab&Mastering [2] and MyLabsPlus.
Additionally, there is a scheduled vendor update for Canvas [3] on Saturday, December 19 between 8:00am and 12:00pm EST. Canvas will receive feature updates and bug fixes managed by the vendor (Instructure). Highlights in this update include:
- Updated Features
- Student View tool: Instantly view individual pages as a student
- Fixed Bugs
See the release notes [4] for a full list of expected updates and fixes, including a short (~5 minutes) screencast reviewing this release.
On Thursday, December 24 from 12:00am to 10:30am EST, WileyPLUS and all integrations in Canvas [5] will be unavailable while the vendor performs system upgrades.
Lastly, Google Workspace will officially stop supporting IE 11 on March 15, 2021. This is in response to the announcement that the entire suite of Microsoft 365 apps & services will no longer support IE11 beginning August 17, 2021.
As always, we will continue to provide timely communication/additional information concerning future updates.
