IT Professionals:
Recently, Pulse Secure issued a security advisory regarding a vulnerability with the Pulse Secure VPN client that affects Windows clients [1] for Versions 9.1.R5 or lower. Versions 9.1.R6 or higher are not affected.
Campus Networks and the University Information Security Office recommends that that you upgrade your client to the most recent version available (9.1.R7) as other fixes are included. This can be done by either going to IUWare [2] or to agree to upgrade when prompted while logging into the VPN.
Please contact uiso@iu.edu if you have questions about the vulnerability. If you have questions about the VPN, or the Pulse Secure client, please contact Support Center Tier 2 at sct2@iu.edu, or via phone at 812-856-SCT2 (7282) or 317-278-SCT2 (7282).
