Hello IT Professionals,
Our spring EdCert professional training courses wrap up in June and include a recent add to our CompTIA line up.
CompTIA Project+ has been the most popular course this semester but seats are still open. The five day course will be held Mon–Fri, Jun 1-Jun 5. Register by Wednesday, May 27th. Cost is $500.
Description: CompTIA Project+ is intended for individuals in various job roles who are involved in managing, leading, and participating in small- to medium-scale projects. You will apply recognized practices of project management and understand the knowledge and skills required to manage the project life cycle (from initiation and planning through execution, acceptance, support and closure), ensure appropriate communication, manage resources, manage stakeholders, and maintain project documentation. Project+ covers a high-level introduction to Agile. Additionally, this course can be a significant part of your preparation for the CompTIA Project+ PK0-004 certification exam.
Our final June course is CompTIA A+ 2019, Core 2 which will be held Mon–Fri, Jun 22-Jun 26. Register by Wednesday, June 17th. Cost is $250.
Description: CompTIA A+ is the industry preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles. It is about much more than PC repair. Candidates are better prepared to troubleshoot, and problem solve, and technicians will better understand a wide variety of issues ranging from networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security. A+ supports the ability to connect users to the data they need to do their jobs regardless of the devices in use. CompTIA A+ CORE 2 covers installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting and operational procedures. Vendor-neutral and designed to assist in preparing for the CompTIA A+ Core 2 certification examination, 220-1002, one of two exams required for CompTIA A+ certification.

EdCert Fall Schedule News
We’re very excited to share that Microsoft courses are back on the EdCert lineup! Between the availability of the renovated EdCert classroom (for either remote or in-person course support) and the recent option from Microsoft to access their cloud-based labs for the MOC courses, we have a new catalog of options to consider. We have a very full tentative schedule for the next fiscal year that includes courses from CompTIA, Microsoft, (ISC)2, and CertNexus and will be asking your feedback on the selections soon.
