The Red Hat Summit is advertised as the premier open source technology event for IT professionals to innovate and focus on high-performing Linux, cloud, automation and management, container, and Kubernetes technologies. This year’s event is even more available, having moved to a virtual format…. and at no cost to participants! Registration is required.
The Red Hat Summit Virtual Experience is a free, immersive, multiday event from April 28-29, 2020, that delivers keynotes, breakout sessions, access to Red Hat experts, and collaboration opportunities similar to past Red Hat Summit events. With more than 150 sessions (both live and in recorded formats), breakouts, and more, you can learn about the topics that matter to you.

Held Wed–Fri, May 6–8 & Wed–Thu, May 13–14, Security+ emphasizes the practical and hands-on ability to both identify and address security threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities. Register by April 29th for this 5-day online course. Meet 9am – 4pm Eastern Time. Cost is $500.
Description: This course builds on the knowledge and professional experience with computer hardware, operating systems and network devices as you gain basic security skills to implement security services on any type of computer network. Security+ focuses on the latest trends and techniques in risk management, risk mitigation, threat management and intrusion detection. Content includes security concepts, tools, and procedures to react to security incidents, as well as anticipating security risks and guarding against them. Assists in the preparation for the CompTIA Security+ SY0-501 certification exam.
