IT Professionals,
The eLearning Services team (eLS) wants to inform you of four upcoming changes.
On April 23, the Language Interpretation feature [1] will be available within Zoom at IU [2].
On April 25, between 1:00am and 9:00am, Pearson will be updating its sign-in portal in order to improve security and privacy [3]. While accessing both the standalone product as well as all integrated Pearson products within Canvas [4], students and instructors alike will experience intermittent login issues throughout the maintenance window.
On April 27, Instructure, the Canvas [5] vendor, will be updating its in-house Microsoft Teams LTI between 11:00pm and 11:10pm. Existing meetings will not be impacted and can still be joined, but users may be unable to create new meetings during the maintenance window.
On April 28, Instructure will be performing a brief maintenance on IU’s Canvas instance on April 28th. This event will last up to 30 minutes and is scheduled from 2:30am to 3:00am. Users will not be able to access Canvas for approximately five minutes while the event is underway.
As always, we will continue to provide timely communication/additional information concerning future updates.
