IT Professionals,
IT Community Partnerships would like to invite you to the upcoming IT Water Cooler [1] event on Wednesday, April 1. The IT Water Cooler is an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with others interested in IU IT. We encourage you to attend in person at the CIB to meet and network with your colleagues.
All attendees, whether in person or online need to register [2] for the event.
If this will be your first time participating in a Zoom meeting, you may be prompted to install the Zoom client when you join the session (see “About Zoom” [3] for more information). We do plan to record the session and post the recording when it is available.
New for this event, ITCP will host a panel discussion centered around IT security. This can encompass many different aspects of security including policy and best practice, research, data management, application development, etc. Panelists for the event are:
- Ian Washburn, UISO
- Juliet Aders, UIPO
- William Drake, Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research
- Mark Napier, Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering
- Dennis Gillespie, Internal Audit
Panelists will briefly discuss their backgrounds and then answer questions. If you have a question you would like asked during the event, please send it to talk2uits@iu.edu. Panelists will also answer questions from the audience time permitting.
