IT Professionals:
Every year, UITS sponsors a leadership workshop called IT Leadership Boot Camp at Bradford Woods for up and coming leaders in information technology at IU. We will host our 11th Boot Camp in summer 2020. Thirty-six people will have the opportunity to participate in three full-day, interactive sessions to learn about Strength Based Leadership, interact with colleagues, and practice leadership competencies. There is no cost to your unit.
Potential participants
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, use the application link below before February 24, 2020 to read more about the program, submit your name, and answer a few questions about why you would like to attend. Your attendance on all three days is critical. In the application you are asked to confirm your availability and, if selected, clear any other commitments for those days. Also, it would be a good idea to talk to your direct supervisor so they are aware of your interest. Your supervisor’s information is required on the form and they will be asked to confirm your availability and provide input. Final selections will be made in March, taking into account the information provided by your leadership. You will be notified of your selection status after final decisions are made.

If you would like to hear more about if Boot Camp is right for you, tune into the “Conversations on Leadership” webinar event on February 11 at 11:30 ET. Watch for an email from that action team with more information.
