IT Professionals,
The Web Services Support & Enterprise Web Technical Services teams has contacted Webserve owners directly with the below text. The communication is a reminder to migrate their PHP sites before December 23 to prevent the sites from being disabled. Web sites that are not using PHP will continue to work until the March deadline unless they have been migrated.
You can view Webserve accounts that you own [1] and if you’d like to get a list of group Webserve accounts for the units you support, please contact talk2uits@iu.edu.
Since the original announcement, ITCP has hosted an infoshare with details about the transition and is available via Kaltura for viewing [2].
If you need assistance in transitioning websites, please contact Support Center Tier 2 (sct2@iu.edu).

~~~~~ Text of Direct Mailing ~~~~~
Greetings Webserve account owners and contacts,
You are receiving this email because you have one or more accounts on the Webserve service. These accounts may be hosting business critical sites for your team or organization. Most sites (those that use PHP) must be migrated by December 23 or they will be disabled.
To retain your IU website presence, you must migrate to the IU Sitehosting service before December 23. This migration is challenging and administrators recommend starting well ahead of the deadline to ensure uninterrupted service.
All sites still on Webserve, regardless of content, will be disabled on March 20, 2020.
View your Webserve accounts
View the Webserve accounts that you own (authenticate with IU Login). You will also see a link to the Sitehost account request form for each of your Webserve accounts that do not already have a Sitehost account. If you are not the owner of any Webserve accounts, the report will be blank.
Questions about migrating?
Members of Support Center Tier 2 Web Services Support, WebTech Linux and WCMS, and the IU Web Framework developer team have been offering open support sessions via a Zoom videoconferencing room. Account owners and developers can get answers to their support and migration questions. The sessions are held every Tuesday, 1-5pm, through December 17, 2019. Join the support session from PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android.
For information on the Webserve retirement and transition to IU Sitehosting see About IU Sitehosting. If you have questions, please contact Support Center Tier 2 (Web Services Support) at sct2@iu.edu, or via phone: 812-856-SCT2 (7282) option 4, or 317-278-SCT2 (7282) option 4.
Thank you,
The Web Services Support & Enterprise Web Technical Services teams
